Activyl Flea Control for Dogs
Activyl for dogs is a uniquely formulated spot-on treatment that contains pro-insecticide. The innovative ingredient works through bio-activation from the flea’s enzymes. Being waterproof, this monthly treatment remains effective in all seasons. A fragrance free treatment, Activyl kills adult fleas and breaks their life cycle by destroying eggs, larvae and pupae.
Working method
Indoxacarb is the active ingredient of Acityl spot-on treatment. This pro-insecticide gets activated through flea’s own enzymes. This mode of action makes it highly effective in destroying each flea that ingests the treatment. It takes 8 hours to start eliminating existing fleas. On activation, it paralyzes and kills fleas by blocking their nerve transmission.
As it works on all levels of flea life cycle including flea eggs, larvae and pupae, future infestations is nearly impossible. Regular usage is essential for flea proofing the pet.
Note: Concurrent use of flea treatment for dogs with Scalibor Monthly Paralysis Tick Collar for dogs is both safe and effective.
Directions of Use
Activyl for dogs is marketed in four different color-coded packs categorized as per dog weight. Weigh your pet first and choose pack as per details given in the dosage table.
For application, allow the pet to sit in a comfortable position, be it standing or sitting. Create a bare skin spot by parting the fur around the spot.
For small dogs, part fur at the base of the skull and between shoulder blades. Apply the content at this spot by placing the tip of open pipette on this spot and squeezing out the liquid.
For larger dogs, create 3-4 spots starting from the one between shoulder blades. Create others across the spine where the pet cannot lick. Apply the content at each spot.
Let the applied spots dry completely. Until then do not touch or groom the pet. Do not allow other pets and children to groom or play with the pet.
