Moxiclear for Dogs – Monthly Flea, Worm & Heartworm Control Treatment
Moxiclear is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum parasite protection treatment for dogs. It is an easy-to-use, water-resistant, monthly spot-on for the prevention and treatment of fleas, heartworms, sarcoptic mites, ear mites, and intestinal worms, including roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. The topical treatment stops fleas feeding in 3-5 minutes and prevents itching due to flea bites. When used monthly, it aids in the prevention of harmful heartworm disease and reduces the incidence of flea allergy dermatitis. It not only treats mature worms but also controls larvae. Moxiclear for Dogs is safe to be used on dogs and puppies from 7 weeks of age.
How does it work?
Moxiclear is developed with two key ingredients – moxidectin and imidacloprid. The active ingredient, moxidectin, is highly effective against immature heartworms and intestinal worms, including hookworms, roundworms and whipworms. The other ingredient, imidacloprid, acts on fleas, sarcoptic mange, ear mites and lice. It has been shown to kill adult and larval fleas within 20 minutes of contact by absorption via the flea intersegmental membranes. Fleas are not required to bite the dog to receive a lethal dose. The combined effect of the ingredients helps protect dogs against the harmful parasitic infestation and lowers the risk of parasite-borne diseases. The solution acts topically and should be used monthly for complete protection.
